I put a recurring reminder on my Google Calendar every 18 months to replace the cutter block and I am always glad I change it as I can tell the difference with the new blade and screen. Results: A smoother, closer shave.The one I just got even seems to be a little more sturdy than the previous one, with the blades being slightly thicker, and the block more cushioned.

I love this replacemnt! IT's absolutly fantastic! I have a Braun SyncroPro 7505 shaver which is now about 4 years old. This is the 3rd Braun that I have owned and have always had wonderful service from this brand. I bought my first Braun, many years ago, when I was on a diplomatic mission to Omsk, Siberia. I did not know what kind of power outlets I was going to find, so after some experiments, I leaned that the Braun shaver will perform for many more days on a battery charge than other shavers.
As for the replacement head, it fit my shaver perfectly and it does, indeed, shave closer than my 4 year old original head. Perhaps the next time I won't wait quite as long. :)
